Salesforce.com Talented Sales Professional Joins Locus Team

Reporting to Neno Duplan, President and CEO, Mr. Applegate is tasked with driving Locus’ continued global sales success.
Before joining Locus, Mr. Applegate held numerous positions at salesforce.com (NYSE: CRM) where he was consistently recognized for his ability to drive customer success and evangelize the enterprise cloud computing model. Prior to salesforce.com, Mr. Applegate lent his expertise to numerous internet startups with responsibilities ranging from business development aimed at Fortune 100 companies to training and leading marketing teams. He holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of California, San Diego, in Economics with an emphasis on Global Energy.
Mr. Applegate will lead a talented group of sales and environmental professionals to explore new market opportunities for Locus. Pioneering its web-based environmental applications in 1997, Locus became the first software company to deliver enterprise environmental applications through cloud computing. Locus’ software, including Locus EIM, is used at many Fortune 100 companies and remains the leader in on-demand environmental data management solutions.
